Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in America. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). The desire to become an artist was influenced by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. After working as assistant to photographers She turned her focus to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in her name was acknowledged and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After just three short films she was deemed as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw married three people.
