Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. In the year 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made an impact as a successful director in various well-known television shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
